| Description | This original book is all about getting "picture moments" - several subjects from a single square of paper, usually using both sides of the paper for interesting color-changes. My favorites here are all the models involving various combiantions of pandas, one incorporating 3 pandas from one sheet. The animals are usually portrayed in Yamada's cartoonish style, as caricatures of the real ones. Diagramming quality is good, but the requirement for some complicated moves with occasional vague reference-points, would make me recommend the book to complex, or at least high-intermediate folders. | ||

The book includes models ranging from an advent calendar and decoration for windows, doors and walls to fancy decoration for tables and Christmas trees. The easily comprehensible illustrations also explain imaginative ways of crafting of gifts of money, extravagant gift wraps, gift tags, and beautiful Christmas cards. Many models can easily be crafted with little children.
One very special model included in the book is the Star Lamp, which becomes a remakable light object simply by inserting a light bulb (edit: please use LEDs). Every room lit with this lamp is ultimately filled with a warm, peaceful spirit. Another fancy eye-catcher are the floating stars, especially when combined with swimming candles.
All models are presented with coloured pictures, photographs and step-by-step explanations. The models presented in this book were folded with selected papers by Paper Frog, including Origami Papers, inflammable Lamp Paper (Star Lamp) and AQUAPAPER (floating stars).
